01What a Zitda is

A back office that is actually yours.

Notes, records, small tools, and the conversations around them belong together. Zitda gives your personal projects, household, or business a private workspace with a concierge inside.

Run the complete local software on your computer for free, or choose a workspace hosted by Zitda. Connect your supported AI account or API key when you are ready to work with the concierge.

Local first

Keep your workspace on your computer. Cloud hosting is an optional paid service.

Your workspace

Your apps, conversations, and files stay together in the workspace where you work.

Your AI connection

Use a supported AI account or API key. Provider access and usage are separate from hosting.

02The office

How it fits together.

Talk to the concierge, open an app, or read a file. These are different ways into the same workspace, whether it runs on your computer or is hosted by Zitda.

03The pieces

Four things every office has.

The staff.

Concierge

Bring a question or a task. The concierge can read the workspace context available to it and use connected tools to help. The conversation keeps the request and the reply together.

Work that repeats.

Workflow

Keep the steps for work you repeat. A saved workflow gives the routine a place of its own, so you can inspect it and change it as your work changes.

What the office knows.

Knowledge

Keep useful records, notes, and files with the work they support. Bring that context into a conversation, and open the source when you want to check an answer.

Tools shaped to you.

Apps

Use a workspace app, or ask Forge to build and change one for your task. Open it again from the same workspace, alongside its conversations and files.

04The concierge, closer

Ask for the outcome, not the steps.

Tell Zitda what you need. It can use your workspace's tools and context, or help build an app for the task. Review the result before relying on it.

Start with the work at hand.

A useful request can begin with a note, a file, or a question. What Zitda can do depends on the tools, permissions, and AI connection available in that workspace.

05Your data and AI

Know where the work goes.

A local workspace stores its work on your computer. A Cloud workspace stores its work on infrastructure operated for you by Zitda. Choosing hosting changes where that workspace runs.

When you use an external AI provider, the request and the context supplied to that model are sent to that provider. This can include messages, attachments, and information read by tools. Connected services also receive the information needed for the actions you ask them to perform.

Running Zitda locally does not make external AI processing offline. Your provider's terms and usage charges apply to that connection separately from Zitda hosting.
